ABOUT IRA SANDPERL
Ira Sandperl has touched the lives of thousands of people as a passionate teacher of active Gandhian nonviolence. He and Joan Baez started the Institute for the Study of Nonviolence in the mid-1960's. Through his long association with Joan, he was involved in many of the key movements of the 1960s and 70s -- the Free Speech movement, the Civil Rights movement and the Vietnam War peace movement. Ira is also known by many as a long-time employee of Kepler's Books, a former teach at the Peninsula School and the author of the book A Little Kinder. More About Ira
